RILEM

International Union of laboratories and experts in construction materials, systems and structures

The mission of RILEM is to advance scientific knowledge related to construction materials, systems and structures and to encourage transfer and application of this knowledge world-wide.

This mission is achieved through collaboration of leading experts in construction practice and science including academics, researchers, testing laboratories and authorities.

The three main goals of RILEM are:

  • to promote sustainable and safe construction, and improved performance and cost benefit for society,
  • to stimulate new directions of research and its applications, promoting excellence in construction,
  • tofavour and promote cooperation at international scale by general access to advanced knowledge.


ACI

 

American Concrete Institute

ACI is a nonprofit technical and educational society organized in 1904 and is one of the world's leading authorities on concrete technology. ACI is a forum for the discussion of all matters related to concrete and the development of solutions to problems. ACI conducts this forum through conventions and meetings; the ACI Structural Journal, the ACI Materials Journal, Concrete International, and technical publications; chapter activities; and technical committee work. As its mission states, its purpose is to "Provide knowledge and information for the best use of concrete."

 



CCANZ

Cement and Concrete Association New Zealand

By blending technical and marketing disciplines, as well as balancing growth opportunities with support for existing markets, CCANZ aims to ensure that industry decision makers realise the full potential of concrete.



IPENZ

Institution of Professional Engineers of New Zealand

IPENZ is the professional body which represents professional engineers from all disciplines in New Zealand. The terms "engineering profession" and "professional engineer/engineering" are used by the Institution in the broadest possible way, to include all those who use a systematic process of analysis, design/synthesis and implementation, strive to operate in a responsible way, are governed by a code of ethics set by their peers, and engage in continuing professional development to maintain the currency of their competence.



NZRMCA

New Zealand Ready Mixed Concrete Association

NZRMCA strives to promote, aid, foster, research, develop and protect the interests of the Ready Mixed Concrete Industry within New Zealand by whatever means the Association may think fit.
